We are delighted to announce that we have secured two speakers,
one from Green Party, House of Lords and one from a key local charity
- Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle (Natalie Bennett) and Margaret
Simpson from the Bolton Destitution Project.
We have invited both speakers to provide some insight as to the
national and local situations regarding those on low or no-income; the
prognosis if left unaddressed and possible initiatives, local and
national, to include the implementation of Universal Basic Income
This should prove a “must-join” event for all, and we are grateful to
both speakers for giving-up their time to further inform and support us.
The event will take place on Zoom subject to a nominal entrance fee of
£5 or whatever you can afford and free for those experiencing financial
hardship. All proceeds will go towards supporting future events and
campaigns local to Bolton.
To secure your place at this excellent event, please contact Rod
Riesco, Treasurer, at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will send you the
Zoom link and bank account details for your donation.
We look forward to a cracking evening of talk and discussion and more
importantly, look forward to seeing you there....be Green and be Seen
